The stupid Suarez bandage thing

What is it with the stupid bandage that Suarez wears?
He manages to accessorise,so that it matches his kit,Home,Away,or Alternate-Bless! ,but what is it about?
Is it:-
a) Some sort of Homage to Keith Lemon
b) A repetitive strain injury,caused by his full body weight constantly being applied to his wrist when diving,or
c) the egotistical affectation of a self obsessed wanker

I believe it is a bandage that is there to protect an injury he got on his wrist when playing for Uruguay a few months ago. It's the same colour as his shirt because all bandages/tape on a players limbs have to be the same colour as the teams shirt .
