As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Anyone else notice that their computer doesn't work the same since the new Ads were installed? For one, when I press 'previous page' on my keyboard it just goes back to the top of the same page I've just been on rather than the previous one. Also noticed that in the posts the odd word appears in colour and with some sort of symbol, whereas once they never used to. What the hell is going on?!!
Also, some of them Ads are a bit 'saucy' and it's not just on the corkbarry and Milf threads where I have to be careful about who might pass by!!
(Don't blame the drugs because, strong though they are, it's a natural state of mind for me and are not responsible)
EDIT: Just noticed that the coloured words/symbols are links to other adverts. It is spoiling the look of the forum a bit for me but I suppose it has to be done for financial reasons.

No technical knowhow at all from me but... don't Ads tend to tailor themselves to the indivdual user nowadays? I know from looking a Televisions lately that a lot of Ads I see tend to be based on Tele's and, when recently trying to book train tickets I get inundated with trainline and virgin Ads.
As I say, I am by no means an expert but is it possible that your 'saucy' ads are related to your recent searches?

What buttons? Does it work for the trolls?
At the bottom of one of the big Ads it had I think an 'options' button which I clicked and it then showed a message which gave me a choice to continue seeing the ads or not. I switched 'active' to 'inactive' but nothing seemed to change. Once I got out of the page and clicked on another thread the side Ads had gone!! Although the small coloured ones within the posts remain.
