Big in Asia

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Somewhere, the sad little man known as Father_Ted just had a stroke because of the simply appalling racism of that statement!

Have to admit I love the fish bar! The amount of soakage I've purchased off them over the last 20+ years!! :barscarf:

I'm just surprised the club hasn't put them out of business yet for using the Arsenal Brand so outrageously... :|

Ive been going in there for over 40 years when there really wasn't much in the way of eats in the area ,the Old family the cantonese ones sold out about 10 years ago ,I loved the all of them and knew their daughter from when she was a baby .
Tony Adams Mum and Dad went in there every week when he played for us and sat with my pal and his dad who still use it .
Its run by mainland Chinese now but they have kept it going in the same way ! :barscarf:

I'll admit it was many years until I realised what the song "Turning Japanese" was really about!

I too like the fish bar and the little Italian restaurant near the Holloway Road.

Sorry, didn't mean the song or your taste there, just the way the comment was thrown in!

I wonder what modality or key centre that song was written in? I've read that certain people are sensitive to (or are attracted to) certain modalities and certain keys. Explains why so much vapid pop shite is loved by so many people and hated by so many others. Most (but not all) pop songs are written in major keys whereas most rock/metal/indie etc are written in minor keys. I've found there are certain pop songs I've liked over the years too, whereas my taste is more rock/metal/indie/punk/ska type stuff, and those pop songs I've liked turned out to be nearly always minor key songs. One of the reasons many ABBA songs are liked by rock fans is that a lot of them were written in minor keys and they don't sound as "light" or vapid as most pop songs. Also the two birds being dirty rides probably helped. 8)

They serve Nasi Goreng on Club Level.
I saw the sign and had to look it up, not having eaten Indonesian food before.
