Sounds very harsh tbh. But typical of our corporate entity (oops, sorry - club) and its treatment of its customers.

I note in one reply;

"Or shes a spud or a complete fucking c*nt"

Surely if that was the case, she would be both? 8)

The fact the bloke works for a charity doesn't seem relevant. It doesn't specify what the guy did exactly but I did read they received 180 hours community service - not what's dished out for a normal barney in the pub.

To be honest, i'm the cynical type so I'd expect there to be a lot more to the story than Arsenal acting on info from 1 single vigilante copper...

I'm surprised that anybody could be surprised by this - this is the same club that introduced a text grassing service where we can grass fellow fans and get them banned from the stadium ( ) and the same club that get one of it's fans labelled as a tout for selling a ticket to his friend at face value (how did that case finish up btw ?) This is a club that outlaws banners on elf and safety grounds but by some miracle ( ) pro wenger banners are deemed acceptable  This is the same club that has no qualms about bringing a lady to court in spain for having "Arsenal" in her shop name
I despair of the club we have now become I really do

Still confusing 6 and 9 huh? :(

I like The Time Bandits 11 idea but if OneBard Ewok turns up for a game there may be some kind of internecine clash between his race and ours. :?

Arsenal have not banned charity or a charity though have they?

The police have recommended a ban on one individual, so the club are almost certainly going to act in accordance with that ban.

That this person works for a local charity is a side issue, the club have not banned the charity from the ground, and as was stated, have helped the charity in the past.

If the club is at fault with something then tackle it, but this is just sloppy journalism about one person's challenge to the police.

Hmm so we should trust the police even though the court didn't think it appropriate to have a footy ban? The police are even now stitching up cabinet ministers let alone some poor gooner with a big mouth.

Why is the head of a charity getting into a fight that somehow reaches court?

[Edited by QuartzGooner as per Chippy's suggestion about potential libel].

From what I can gather, Arsenal haven't banned the charity at all. :? - isn't it more a case of Arsenal banning a bloke who just so happens to work for a charity?? hardly the same thing :?

I've changed the thread title as it's not only inaccurate to say Arsenal have banned a charity, but a highly unfair and misleading accusation.

I read that Arsenal like to murder kittens when they're bored on a Tuesday afternoon.
