How Spurs plan to win Europa League

Post by TheTourist »

In order to go through over Dnipropefjoewhfiewgh-trosk (or whatever the name is), Sherwood decided to work on new defensive tactics.

Seriously, this is ludicrous

Seemed like 6 of one half a dozen of the other from that angle :? Although not sure why I'm surprised, standard of refereeing in Europe completely blows away the shit reffing week in week out in PL.

Embarrassing that Spurs needed a late show to turn around a tie against those part-timers. Competition is going to continue to be a mockery with so many games against joke teams and then the latter stages being contested by teams who were knocked out of CL group stages.

I, for one, wanted them to win tonight so that they would have a fixture a few days before playing us, rather than a huge rest. Want them knocked out next round though. :barscarf:

Exactly...pains me to say it but Spurs winning tonight means they play Benfica on the Thursday before playing us on the Sunday...which has to be a good thing. And if I was Wenger I'd rest players for our game in Munich on the Tuesday. No good busting a gut to chase a game when the tie is already lost!

I want them to go as far as the finals and lose. That way they should finish way down the BPL table. However, I dont want Man Utd to beat finish ahead of them. I really want Man Utd in 7th or 8th.

Peace

can't agree with this - semi finals would be acceptable but I can't be having Spurs reaching a final of anything.
also much as it would be funny if Man United finished lower than them I think all Arsenal supporters should hope that Spurs finish as low as possible - relegated if possible

Juve are going to walk this competition, in my opinion.

Even them parasites getting a runners-up medal in this joke of a competition will be too much, them losing to a last minute goal in the semi will be so much better.

Higuain scored a decent goal last night for Napoli.
It is a shame we don't consider buying anyone like him

Soldado did a lot worse. He looks behind him, sees a player coming towards him and deliberately swings his elbow and smashes him in the face.

Even the normally biased commentary stated"He's gotten away with one there"

Should have been a straight red.

Not that it would have hurt them much, he's so shite these days. The scum have turned one of Spain's deadliest strikers into Franny Jeffers
