WHO WILL WIN IT NOW.

Post by REB »

I just think a Liverpool win no matter how bad is a result for football, the other two are small clubs who if they weren't losing over 100mill a year would be battling relegation.

could be worse and be that lot or man u I suppose :?

It's always been nice to know that the victims have never won the premiership. Long may that continue.

I cannot stand this club and their 'alleged' best fans in the world. They're a bunch of theiving scumbags that never take responsibility for their own actions. I could never be happy to see them win the league.

At least when it is the Chavs or Citeh the whole world knows it is only about the money and they'll never get the respect that winning the league deserves.

There is one ship that has never docked in Liverpool.............the premiership!v :barscarf:

Fuck yeah. I'm with Spuddy on that. The very thought of Stevie Me lifting (ooh - Freudian slip there!) the PL trophy makes me want to puke. I really really hope he goes his whole career without winning that one.

I couldn't agree more. I'd rather City won it, I don't really have any particular feelings towards them but I fucking hate Chavs, Man U and those scouse pricks

:
There is a plastic Liverpool fan I know who regularly post pictures of Liverpool fans from Asia on her facebook page, this she claims proves Liverpool have the best fans in the world. If we saw a picture of smiley fans from Asia in their new Arsenal shirts we would say that is what is wrong with our club..commercial exploitation etc etc.
I just cannot stand Liverpool supporters, I am repeating myself and many others here when I say I am sick of their double standards over Heysel and Hillsborough. What happened in Sheffield in 1989 was a tragedy and my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones, I say that as a football fan and a human being. But why oh why do the same people try to airbrush the murder of Italians out of history , their history.?
If Liverpool win a game in august its "automatic" that they are going to win the league..This sense of entitlement to history sickens me ..and yet many of these fans I know here in Dublin wouldn't blink when Liverpool lose, let alone suffer.
I would hate them to win the league, City are preferable to Chelsea..so City hopefully.

Don't really understand some of these opinions. Yes I can't stand LFC fans' double standards on Hillsbrough/Heysel and then still turning up with fake tickets 20 yrs later, breaking into the stadium in Athens etc.

However, why is Gerrard not winning the PL such a big deal to people? Much rather him than Mourinho, Terry and Cole, or Nasri. And Liverpool not having won the 'Premiership'... by that logic we've never won the 'Capital One Cup' or 'Europa League' - it's just a change of name.

Brendan Rodgers has got a team full of English players playing really exciting attacking football on a much smaller budget than City and Chelsea. Seeing as we are not providing a credible challenge, good luck to them.

I want City to win it because:

1) If city win it wouldn't be anything special. A team that spent 100m wins prem? Go figure.
2) If Liverpool win it it will be an indictement of our 10 years of failure
3) As for Chelsea- Mourinho. Enough said. Also it would be great if specialist in failure wins FA cup and Mour nothing.

Unfortunately Liverpool will win it.

It should have been us this season and although in many ways it will be better for football than the 2 billionaire bankrolled teams winning it, I think Liverpool winning the league will be hard to stomach.

Remember when Arsenal said we were building around a core group of English players and we signed Jenkinson, Gibbs, Walcott and Wilshere to long term contracts. 3 of those are injury prone and the other one isnt good enough.

meanwhile Liverpool have shown us how to do it and now have Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson and Johnson all as first team regulars playing with pace and power that we can only dream of.

Liverpool have a smaller stadium, cheaper ticket prices and a smaller budget but look what they have done with an ambitious young manager. If any AKB says who would we get instead of Wenger then point them in the direction of Merseyside.

Fully agree with this. One thing I noticed in Rodgers' post-match interview yesterday was he said straight away his focus would be watching West Ham play on Monday and analysing their team/tactics ahead of their game next weekend. Pretty sure Wenger has never said anything like that.

I said Chelsea in September so sticking to it.

Even with their recent losses I think they can just do it, by a point.

Please for the love of god don't let the victims win it. I'm on a one way ticket to the Congo if they do, have you all forgotten what they were like in the 80's?

Obviously it's not palatable no matter what but it's

City
Chavs
Liverpool

as my order of preference. :banghead:

REALLY?

Jose Enrique -Spain
Kolo Toure - Ivory Coast
Daniel Agger - Denmark
Luis Alberto - Spain
Iago Aspas - Spain
Phillipe Coutinho - Brazil
Victor Moses - Nigeria
Mamadou Sahko - France
Sebastien Coates - Uruguay
Aly Cissokho - France
Lucas Leiva - Brazil
Simon Mignolet - Belgium
Martin Skrtel - Slovakia
Luis Suarez - Uruguay

Yep! All good old English players!

Also, Liverpool have spent over £278m in the past 5 years (Chavs have spent £412m and Citeh £512m)
so they've not exactly been working on a shoestring budget!

During this time we have spent £172m
