Championship promotion hopefuls

Championship promotion hopefuls

Post by Chips and Chocolate »

So Leicester and Burnley (if they don't fuck it up hara kiri style) are up.
Two nice trips (Burnley great old school ground, Leicester easy trip) but who do you want to go up via the playoffs?

I'd say Derby, QPR and Wigan are all but through plus one of Brighton, Reading, Ipswich, Blackburn, Bournemouth, Forest and Watford.

Brighton or Ipswich please (or Wigan- Blackburn - massive allocation and reasonably priced)!

E I E I E I O!!!!!

I think Wigan will be the team to come up through the play offs but would like Blackburn to come up due to the massive allocation. Can't we get up to 8,000 at Ewood?

Only the big NW clubs get the whole Darwen end I think. We usually got the whole upper tier and the lower tier was split 50/50

F**k that no more trips to the desolate wastelands of the norf west. Give me Derby, I know it's a smaller stadium but I can't stand Wigan/Blackburn/Bolton.

They offered nothing to the prem besides laying down for Fergie and no fans in their stadiums unless the big boys were coming to town. No thanks, they can stay in the championship.

With only 6pts to play for and 4pts adrift of safety, the benched Ping-Pong is about to get well and truly 'dench'-ed into division 3 when as expected Barnsley get relegated in a few weeks....Oh dear

There's a man who wasted his career and chances, not as bad as Bentley,Pennant but wasted none the less

Brighton for me - a great day out and nice little town full of air stewardesses. Plus they lost their ground for a long time. But mainly the stewardesses . :D

Brighton would be good but would probably be a 60+ credit job given where most Gooners appear to live. Derby would be interesting, Blackburn and Wigan are a bit last season, Bournemouth would've been fun.

I predict Leicester (20+ credits), Burnley (15+) and Derby (20+)

Leicester and Burnley are both rather dull additions tbh. Burnley will lose their manager after a few months of the season and go straight back down.

Would like to see Forest sneak into the play offs and come up but other then that it's anyone but QPR.

On a selfish note would love Ipswich to get up as they are only 15 miles away from me (although might be a struggle to get tickets)
