One of the first matches I went to on my own at about 14 was v WBA - a 3-1 victory I seem to recall with Ian Allinson netting twice ?

Didn't even remember this one !!
Anyway, can't recall too much in the way of drama during our home matches, so over to you.......
Previous Arsenal v WBA matches (Highbury / Emirates)

Remember us losing to them 2-3 a few seasons back when Almunia saved a penalty that he'd conceded to start with and having an absolute fucking stinker......Baggies were winning 3-0
Look at the goals conceded if you want to remember the good old days of Red Member's favourite keeper at his best !

SteveO why ruin my Friday night? In the 2010/11 season I was living in a house with 7 uni mates and I remember every fucking painful piece of shit from that season - watching it in our basement living room whilst getting absolutely blasted most of the time. 1-0 defeat home to Newcastle. 4-4 with Newcastle. 3-2 disgrace home to the Scum. Bottle-job in Barcelona. Carling Cup Final. A 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford that is so typical of Arsenal it is barely remembered. The 2011/12 team was the worst I've seen but the previous season disgusted me probably more than any other. Only winning 2 PL games from 11 after losing the Carling Cup final summed us up.
Not really a fixture that evokes great memories. Think the last time we played them at Highbury in 2006 was 'Dennis Bergkamp Day' and he came off the bench with about 20 to go. Set one up and scored another to help us to a 3-1 win and set us on the way to our first VT

And yet Wenger lauded our magnificent fighting spirit when a few days later we rolled over the mighty Leyton Orient with the King of Denmark netting a hat-tricknorthbank123 wrote:SteveO why ruin my Friday night? I do remember playing them on the last day of the season donkeys years ago when they were already down and them still getting a draw at THOF.
I prefer to remember the first of our most recent wankathon final away days when we sealed the VT at the Hawthorns. Just as well too otherwise Van Persie would definitely have left

Bit harsh on England's almost no 1 there SteveO, don't forget he was "world class" for a long time according to someone who shall remain namelessSteveO 35 wrote:Remember us losing to them 2-3 a few seasons back when Almunia saved a penalty that he'd conceded to start with and having an absolute fucking stinker......Baggies were winning 3-0
