Just like old times at Turf Moor (8/1)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… did you go to Burnley? Any trouble? It’s a side of football that’s swept under the carpet, but – although far less frequent – it hasn’t gone away. Of course it doesn’t fit in with the game’s image these days and it’s hardly what corporate hospitality types want to hear. But something needs to be done before fans start getting stabbed again…

I had parked in the cricket ground and after the game me and my wife got in my van and tried to get out onto the main road, the burnley mob spotted my red shirt and headed straight for the van. They spotted the police and turned away.2 mins later one of them came up to the window with a snooker ball in his hand and told me to take it.I did eventually to try and save me from any bother, which it did, he told me to wind my window up, cover my shirt up and get on my way as there was going to be trouble there soon. I guess i was lucky not to get a slap. I wont be going there agian in a hurry thats for sure
