The story of Fortuna Cologne

Post by arseofacrow »

Would just like to share a story from German Football which won't interest any hipsters...

So, the season finally ended on Sunday evening with a successful promotion for Fortuna Cologne, one of the non-league teams here in Cologne :barscarf:

They came top of the Regional League West and subsequently had to play another of the Regional League winners in a 2 legged play-off to gain one of the three prmotion places to the 3rd Division.

The first Leg was last Wednesday in Cologne against Bayern Munich II. It finished 1-0 to Fortuna with an 87th min goal.

The second Leg was on Sunday in Munich. Away goals count.

Munich 1-0 at half time and after 80 minutes Fortuna went down to 10 men. Munich then went 2 up with a goal in the 87th min.

In the last minute of injury time, a final long ball from Fortuna...

 :D :barscarf:

A very successful season for Cologne football teams - FC Koln were promoted back to the Bundesliga and now Fortuna to the 3rd division.

:barscarf: :barscarf: 8)

Well done Cologne, KÖln - I still think the 3rd team are better than Cardiff City this season.

Gekommen sie Cologne.... :barscarf: ..

Take it they are sponsored by a Spanish brand of fags or am I being an ignorant Inglander

More importantly they got any strikers or keepers that Arsene can get his hands on, as there's nothing like the super quality that you get in the 3rd division.

What is a 'hipster' and more importantly, does not knowing what one is make me one?

Arsenal and Koln had a friendship going which stemmed out of Euro '88 and went further in two glorious piss up nights with them when Arsenal played there against the BM Sadsacks which was our first sighting of the Lord Wenger who came over to watch our demise !

We wish all in the wonderful City well !

Me and a few mates were attacked by a group of krazy krauts for no apparent reason while on a night out in Cologne. Fuck the place hope both go straight back down, although I think these were FC Koln fans so especially them 8) Never been to watch the Arsenal, like
