Actually, Wrighty played a major part in the qualifying campaign but got injured. He would have gone to the world cup if he was fit.

Know your facts. Hoddle was the only England manager to give Wright a proper shot at England. He got injured in the warm up games and didn't go.

No he got injury at Anfield when his "mate" Ince done him in the game after we won the league
