Falcao on Loan - Yes or No

Post by augie »

I know that we already have a transfer thread but this I feel is entitled to a thread of it's own.

The rumour is that falcao is available on loan at a cost of £20m for 1 season, so I would like to know if us Gooners would sign him on loan for that money or whether they would refuse based on the money involved. Its a straight yes or no answer so there is no need to say that le cock wouldn't do it or that we should try to buy him instead, so just focus on the loan question and say if you would support paying that money or not.

For what it is worth I would be very much in favour of paying it even though he would only be on loan

20m for a one season loan of a player with dodgy knees? Massive no.

all depends how you look at it.

Win PL and CL with Falcao and it's £20m well spent, because we would of made a lot more back

finish 4th and get knocked out of CL at knock out stage, then no

Personally i wouldn't take him on for that amount of money

Ask yourself - would Wenger sanction such a deal?

More chance of getting a blow job from the Pope.

It's an unjustifiable risk to take on the face of it for me too. If you're forking out that much for a one-season loan deal then you should as a minimum have a safety net of a termination clause or injury compensation mechanism.

Tbh if they're willing to loan him out there's obviously an issue there (even if the fee is exorbitant), might as well try and fucking buy him instead.

His net (yes NET) salary is north of 18 million euros so the total cost for the year to us would be 40+ million pounds.

Too rich for me.

That's a point. Even if we paid his wages in full he'd be earning half the money.

Oh yeah I forgot how we have to choose between being an AKB or not being allowed to comment on the financial aspect of any deal :rubchin:
