Previous Arsenal v Man City (Highbury / Emirates)
Can't see a previous topic from last year so have started a new one, if one exists please megre...
Have been to a few of these but nothing overly memorable apart from an Arteta long range winner a year or two back.
Found this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... z-SSiksbgA
Any other favourites from days gone past ?

He plays when he wants, he plays when he wants, Carlos Tevez he plays when he wants

2-0 (I think), Henry scored a superb long-ranger past James, just rifled into the top corner. Invincibles, year or two after maybe.
Unfortunately my Geography teacher had told me she was calling home to discuss poor behaviour the following day. Bitch.

I'll always feel blessed to have seen that team play.
For younger members, compare and contrast the pace, passing and especially the finishing with today's fare.

"Fetch me an abacus". Brilliant.
Look how genuinely furious our defenders and keeper were to concede their goal. That's the competitive spirit some in the side lack.

IIRC it absolutely pissed it down. I was sitting a few rows from the front of the West Stand and by the end I was absolutely soaked through.northbank123 wrote:2-0 (I think), Henry scored a superb long-ranger past James, just rifled into the top corner. Invincibles, year or two after maybe.

Trouble being that was away, not at Highbury or the Emirates so not relative to todays fixture
