As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Can anyone tell me why anytime I click on the main gooner or a topic on the forum, another window always opens up - usually advertising something? Even the simple step of moving to another thread or clicking inside a post to adjust a mistake will incur another window opening. I've regularly checked the 'programs' installed and cleared any I don't recognise from my computer, yet it keeps happening and is really spoiling my experience. It also seems to happen whenever I go into Orange e-mail. There is also the problem of the little ads that pop up on the side on this and the main website.
Any ideas what I can do? Have run a scan and everything seems okay. Have also used Ad-blocker before but that didn't seem to stop them appearing.
Look Hlebby, old mate. You need to get off the ganja, stop eating the pizza, stop surfing the dodgy porn sites, stop spanking yourself into a coma, get a job, eat better, find a woman (or man or animal ) to expend your "dirty energies" on, and THEN, and only then, unstick that CTRL button.
Go into "manage add ons" and there will be a list of programmes that run with the internet. One of these is a programme that sends you pop up ads. One by one, disable the programmes until you find the one that stops the ads popping up when you disable it. Some of these can even turn themselves back on so it's best to go into the programmes setting on your computer and completely delete it. It took me a couple of weeks to find this out after I downloaded a programme that obviously had a couple of these things along for the ride.
