European Qualifying games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

yeah - more proof that tika taka is deader than flares, a full strength spain side losing to Slovenia.

it just reiterates the point that football is not only about technical ability, its also about physical strength, organization, discipline, flexibility and tactics.

In the Wellington in Waterloo and they tried putting on the DuTch game instead of Wales v Bosnia. Clearly not a football fan.

Yes, Szczesny played very well and Podolski smashed the crossbar with a volley.

18,500 at The Aviva. Hard to believe even in this day and age and that opposition ,that is an unbelievably poor attendance. I had a feeling that Ireland might actually get something in Germany but after their loss yesterday I now doubt it very much. How bad were Gibraltar yesterday ? Their first keeper had a death wish , everything he could do wrong he did. The second guy looked better or not as bad. I know football is a global game and all that but what is the point of this game ? Maybe UEFA should introduce two or even three competitions in a division tiered system. Less games and more meaningful ones instead.

Like most on here all I wish for these weeks is our players to return injury free.
