Re: Parking
If he's coming from North of London he should try the car park opposite Blackhorse Road tube station. You can then get Victoria line in to Finsbury Park and walk from there or change onto Piccadilly line and hop one stop to Arsenal.
It's a safe place to leave your car, has security cameras and there's normally an attendant there.
£6 weekdays, £2 Saturdays and £1.50 on Sundays and Bank Holidays. The tube will cost you about £5 return from there and the trains run every 5 minutes or so.

Re: Parking
Coming from the west we normally park just past Islington Tennis Centre round the corner from Caledonian Road tube. About 20 minutes walk but you get away pretty quickly and don't have to spend time fucking round with tube queues. Late kick off on Boxing Day you may need to park almost as far back as the tennis centre itself but it's free and have never had an issue wi h security on such a busy road.
Alternatively park yourself in front of the TV with a crate and enjoy something other than this borefest.

Re: Parking
Try Tufnell Park Road and surrounding roads nearby. Going further up the Holloway Road towards Archway Tube you can also try Wedmore Street and the nearby roads on the same side. All will be within 10-20 mins walk of the stadium.

sorry mate couldn't resist....

BTW
If money is no object there is a car park two minutes walk from the ground pretty much opposite Holloway Road Tube. It will cost about £20 but is secure and is run by good blokes. It should have space as long as you don't arrive too late. If driving down the Holloway Road from Archway it will be a bit after the McDonalds on the same side of the road - look out for the sign and the guy in a high vis jacket.

Grant, when your friend parks please advise him to make sure he leaves little bit handbrake on.
(Sorry, I'll get my coat...though no guarantees I will be able to do up the zip.)

Re: Parking
This is the best option on a bank holiday. You can park 2 mins from the station at no cost, and you are only 15 mins from arsenal by tube.afcforever wrote:Parking at bounds green is normally ok, then jump on the tube.
Re: Parking
There are some places you can park for free less than 5 mins from the ground but I wouldn't tell a rangers fan !
