Nacho

Interesting article I guess.

I'm not sure I'm sold on Nacho, although I do think he's a good enough squad player and to be fair has done pretty well this season, especially being asked to play CB. Although this article makes it seem like we're sitting in first place or something instead of 5th...

Thoughts on Nacho Nacho Man?

Very meh about him tbh - seems a decent enough guy but he shouldn't be first choice at a club of our stature and I'll actually say that he shouldn't be second choice in a big club with any serious aspirations. Tries his best but will never hit the required level imo

Useful squad option.
But not the top level left back or centre back we need.
Though under a different manager with better training he might be.

:coffeespit:

He's a fucking coward who ducks out of challenges and flitters about like a rabbit in the headlights. He is absolute fucking shit. It's a myth that you have to have two very good players in each position to win the league but even allowing for that he's a weak link, especially with the amount of time Gibbs spends out injured every single season.

Yankee he is average at best and the results of several games he played (especially at CB) have been dreadful. Unsure how you perceive his performances as "pretty well".

I'm not his fan or anything but I do think he's played well in a few games. He's not a CB so those games I don't really judge him on. That's all our lord and savior's fault.

Thought he played pretty well today other than that wild swing and miss that went over our bar

What was he, £8m?

Not good enough for that sort of outlay and plays more than he should due to Gibbs being made of glass.

In his defence, he is a very good crosser though.

Don't agree he's a great crosser. Did think that he by and large had a very good game today though, was worried first 5 minutes that he was going to get torn apart by Navas but he was energetic and his decision making was good.

Was my worry too. Luckily for us, Jesus was absolutely fucking gash today.

City are the only team I can think of who've got a better second-choice LB. He's not perfect but I think his performance have been improving. He's been in and out of the team and has moved positions and has made a decent fist of it.

Been good for the last few games (along with most of the squad). Again, I'm not his biggest fan but I do think he's pretty good, and for 8m that was a good buy. He's steadily getting better, at LB at least.
