Games weekend 31/01-01/02

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Games weekend 31/01-01/02

Post by northbank123 »

Pellegrini is fucking shit tactically - Mancini was the same and that is why the pair of them got found out in champs league repeatedly. It's fine and well bringing on 120'm worth of attackers when you need a goal at home against Leicester but it doesn't cur the mustard there. Comparisons with Wenger not required.

He is going to have to think outside the box tomorrow. Chelsea have had a big wobble and Liverpool got at them at times but City have been awful. If he goes there with Fernandinho Fernando and Milner in midfield and ridiculous expectations of Silva and an off-colour Aguero, they won't win the game. I'm not saying he needs to go gung-ho but needs more adventure.

Also don't rate that Mangala at all.

The ref at Chelsea sends off Terry after 30 seconds, disallows a chelsea goal, nuts drogba and throws the ball into chelsea net in the 95th minute for city's winning goal.

And mourinho's head explodes.

Works for me except I'll add that the pikey terry went out to remonstrate with the ref after the game, and the ref pulls out a glock and puts a bullet between terrys eyes 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I thought that cesc was injured for this one ? :? If he plays then I cant see the chavs losing, but if he is out then it will be there for citeeh if they believe they can win it. If the chavs score early then they will wipe the floor with citeeh, but it is more likely to be one of moaninho's "sit back and stifle the game" performances
If citeeh don't win this then the league is over as far as I'm concerned :(

Inclined to agree. Last season was just about the worst PL I can remember.......first season back for Maureen, Moyes's United and our pathetic collapse at the end. The fact one player almost took the average Mickeys to the title underlines how poor it was and City are certainly finding it more difficult with 2 or 3 key players out and with Maureen's Chelsea having added some players we didn't need like Cesc

I expect a Chavski win, much to my displeasure, and a cakewalk to the title

When the Barcodes roll into town and batter you 3-0 you know you're in trouble.

Hull are fucked.
