I used to love going to Loftus Road, ever since my first visit which was a comprehensive 4-1 win I think back at the tail end of 1987 ? 88 ?
Tight, compact ground close to the pitch and often would get a ticket in the QPR section, along with loads of other Gooners with no bother (They may have even had a neutral bit at one point ?)
Remember the game when Merse was fined for sticking 2 fingers up at the qpr fans, think we came form 1-0 down to win 3-1.
Lets hope for plenty of action like this from the bench to inspire the players

wasn't it big tone that gave them the v signs in 1990? it's on youtube i'm sure. back then it wasn't a scandal if a footballer did something nasty
edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp2m8HXqQaY thats a proper captain
as for qpr, a good away ground but shit value for money, was about £45 a ticket last time I did it, not worth it again. saw us crush them in the cup once, other than that all draws or defeats.

It's £50 nowadays, complete joke, especially when about 500 of the away end is restricted view.
Anyway I was in the home end for the Cup game back in 2001 (?), horrible experience not being able to cheer the goals. IIRC there were about three own goals that day.

Not a great hunting ground for me, three 0-0's stretching back to 1989, and the 2-1 defeat a couple of seasons back.
The latter was most memorable for the events in the Wetherspoons pre match, where a slightly deranged oldish woman who was pestering everyone for drinks expressed her displeasure at being kicked out of the pub by lifting her dress and flashing the hairiest growler I have ever seen (and I watched a lot of 70s porn). It was one of those 'I don't want to look but I can't stop myself' moments
I had a friends 14 yr old son with me who was clearly traumatised by the event, not helped by everyone telling him thats what they all look like....
