Ingerland U21s v Germany U21s

Post by GranadaJoe »

Just watched a really good game. We won 3-2.

Jenks set up two goals and won MOM. Gnabry also made an appearence and looked OK.

Had to be somewhere so didn't watch it but I often enjoy the U21 games more than the full internationals

As far as right backs go at the club (in my opinion) the pecking order is Debuchy, Bellerin, Jenks, Chambers. Hell I'd rather see Coq play right back ahead of Chambers. That lad has regressed big time and does not have the pace to play that position anyway. Full backs without pace are DOA in modern football regardless of how good a defender they may be.

Fair play to Jenko. When he first joined us he looked like the non-league footballer that he was. He has come a long way since. Has been one of the best right backs in the PL this season and could easily go on to become a full England international.

Fully agreed, been great to see, some quality crosses. Plans should be another half season loan, then swap with Chambers to get them both trained properly before being spoilt at AFC  :banghead:
