As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's not that good, you would think he would protect his future and not put it at risk.
Yep. I know it's an easy and cheap shot to say most footballers are thick as fuck, but some of them really are. It always astounds me that some average player would do something so stupid fully knowing he has zero other skills to earn after he has thrown away his career.

He deserves a second chance rather than ruining his livelehood.
If it was a substance that would enhance his football, or match fixing, then it should be dealt with differently, but I reckon coke would detract from his game.
Maybe people could try the, " I rammed a couple of grand of class A's up my nose because I am depressed", defence with THEIR employers. I am sure Tescos, the Civil Service, the N.H.S., or local industry will be just as accommodating as Hull City, the F.A., and the P.F.A.
