As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You're right. Definately Sanchez. He got us out of trouble on his own before Christmas.
Monreal has come on massively this year

Personally think Monreal is still a defensive liability and we could do much better. Sure, he has not been as bad as in previous seasons but he is still suspect and not good enough.
First half of the season sanchez was the best player in the league by a country mile, second half of the season he has dropped off A LOT and imo makes the player of the season a lot closer than it should be - I'm not slating the guy and for me it is understandable that his performances have dipped because he carried the team on his own up to christmas
Likewise I find it sad that coquelin is even considered - he really only came to prominence after the citeeh game and that was on January 15th, so it is a poor reflection on the team if a player plays half a season and is on the shortlist for player of the season
At the end of the day I would give my vote to sanchez with cazorla a distant second
