Per Mertesacker: I suffered post-World Cup trauma for half a

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Per Mertesacker: I suffered post-World Cup trauma for half a

Per Mertesacker: I suffered post-World Cup trauma for half a year... but Arsene Wenger helped me recapture my best form
Per Mertesacker admits that winning the World Cup affected his form
The 30-year-old was part of the Germany squad that lifted the trophy.

This Guy needs to grow some balls, I can't get motivated, well Feck off then, I remember him saying the motivated statement, Feck he is paid a small fortune that should be moterventon enough. He has passed his sell-by date and he is too slow, he is like a carthorse. I just hope the new guy Gabriel settles in quickly.

TRAUMA! He's not been to fuckin war ffs, anyhow I have a sneaky feeling he has French roots, so no risk of trauma there

And the red bit, I will hand that over to you DB and your bilingual skills

The biggest disgrace is that our manager didn't see fit to buy another centre-back during the summer to cover the possibility of that happening - despite having previous experience - never mind doing it because of the need to strengthen the squad anyway!! :banghead: :banghead:

As Kos was injured with a dodgy achilles he should have bought in 2 CBs, not "just" one.

Says it all about him, hate his cult like status, have wanted and can't wait for him to be replaced.

If I was Benteke I would be rubbing my hands together right now.

He got dropped after the group stages too, what next? Podolski blaming his poor form in Italy on the WC?
