Trophy Parade

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's the problem having it the day after, most gooners are still drunk in bed!

Literally woke up 20 mins ago with a banging head and the man flu so I'm in this category. It was bloody brilliant last year too but another day on the sauce......can't face it just yet :D

Was it held on the morning last season ? I always thought that it started around lunchtime :? Tbh it isn't making great viewing on sky (partially cos of the sparse turnout but also cos sky are again trying to hype it up to a ridiculous wankathon level  ), and if it wasn't for the player interviews I wouldn't watch it at all

Didn't bother this year due to hangover/weather. It might look sparse but there still is more than 100k on the streets easy. That route is a good few miles so only when you get 200k plus will it look rammed.

Outside the armoury there's room for 20,000 easy. This goes against the league champions who could barely muster 70k this year.

One thing Chelsea cant buy is a local hardcore support.

Was just thinking that.

Only 70k for a title parade now that's small time

Theres a live link on arsenal.com if anyone wants to watch the parade move from the town hall to the armoury, where the players/trophy will be presented.

Distinctly less people & enthusiasm at the victory parade today as opposed to last season, people want more.

not bad for pouring rain on the morning after. There weren't mics on the crowd but got the feeling not too many people knew the words when Ray Parlour tried to get people going with She Wore
Cazorla looked like he had a mega headache
