Emirates Cup
Morning all,
I'm looking to take my 4 year old nephew to his first match on the Sunday of the emirates cup.
Was wanting to try and get front row in the lower tier so he could be closer but they are all sold out.
I see there are some available in row 2 of block 22 - what's the view like?
I see the whole of block 21 is sold out, would that be for fans of the away teams?
Any help much appreciated
Matt

Re: Emirates Cup
Great to hear you are taking your 4 year old nephew to his first game.
I haven't taken any kids that young before but I'm not sure row 2 of lower tier would offer him a great view at that age. Also block 22 maybe not great for a kid as in corner flag - perhaps something more central would be better if available (blocks 1,31, 16 or 17). Perhaps row 10 if available. Then again at 4 years old he may not take much notice of anything anyway!
I'd imagine 21 is away section.
Anyone else taken someone so young got any ideas? Maybe phone the club box office for advice?

Re: Emirates Cup
I would have thought that the upper tier front row would be better for such a small person to get a good view.

Re: Emirates Cup
upper tier is better for a kid going to its first game , great view of everything tbh, i took my little girl last year and she loved it

Re: Emirates Cup
You could even try the club section, its not a lot more costly for the Emirates cup and will probably impress him even more
. You get a "free" programme and a pint too, or at least you do for PL matches.
Agree that the view down the front isnt so good, the atmosphere is often better there but probably wont be for the Emirates cup anyway.

sit down in front of the tv. saves a fortune and you don't have someone next to you all game taking pictures

Re: Emirates Cup
I took my 4 year old (now 5) to his first game at the Emirates Cup last year, sat in Block 98 (Upper tier in North Bank) row 1 and that was perfect as he was close enough to the pitch and far away enough from the thick of it (pissed up fan wise) mine was interested for one half though so I'd take an tablet or device with a film on just incase, the atmosphere is laid back too so it won't intimidate him (if that's possible at the Emirates)
Good luck.
Good luck.
