should we make a cheeky bid for Costa??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

should we make a cheeky bid for Costa??

Post by markyp »

with all the apparent unrest at the Chavs and a feud between Jose and Costa should we make an offer in January??I know hes a crunt of the highest order but his goal scoring record is unreal bar this season so far,and yes I know there is no chance of Wenker even considering a bid but in a world where Arsenal are actually challenging for trophies would you be happy if we went in for him?? id be more than happy even though he is a loose cannon at times,im fed up with us being 'nice' I want nasty!!!

No he's a *word censored*. And unlike Suarez who is s *word censored* that scores goals, Costa has turned into a non goal scoring *word censored*.

The cannibal was a c.unt that lives for scoring goals - costa is a c.unt that lives for conflict and at the back of it all he is a cowardly b.stard

Anyway the problem at the chavs is that he hasn't settled in engerland - if he leaves you can expect him to join either of the Madrid teams (not getafe  ) and we will sign the blackmailer as real Madrid look to make room for costa

It won't happen (mainly because Chelsea wouldn't sell to us) but I'd grudgingly welcome that dirty, cheating scumbag because he's the type of striker we need i.e. a good one!

I'd rather have a team of bastards, than a team of nancies.

Naturally, we'll never sign him.

We would never have the likes of Adams, Keown or Wright at the club as it is now. That sums up most of what is wrong with the team these past ten years.

We should, despite the fact the man is a total and utter scumbag he is the type of player we need let alone the type of striker we need. He has aggression, passion and will to do what it takes to win. Our strikers have none of that.

------------------Ozil------------------
Walcott--------------------Alexis
--------------Costa----------------

That is mouthwatering. Pacey, technical, talent filled and Walcott is there too :-P

Nothing wrong with a tap in merchant. Strikers who are killers in the box are few and far between.

Costa has a screw loose though, so not sure how he'd cope at Arsenal. I think he's like Mourinho; utter wankers who like to cause trouble, win fast and move on to pastures new.

Of course not; just a lot wrong with Costa.

I rate him as a striker.

I'm assuming this is a hypothetical question as it involves wenger recognising a glaring deficiency in the team and acting in a proactive fashion by spending actual cash to solve the problem.......what an outlandish scenario, it's never going to happen.

Even in these days of corrupt, cheating, egotistical bastard players, I would like to think there is still a smidgeon of morals when it comes to players and so, I say no to the ugly piece of shit!
