How many years in a row has Wenker got us into the 3rd round ?

He has set a record for the most consecutive years for an Arsenal manager :barscarf:

No way are we winning it again. I predict we'll get a decent PL side home or away, or a decent Championship side away, and injuries/Wenger's negligence to see us to an early exit.

We never seem to get a team we haven't played for years.

Yawn!!!!!!!! At least we're at home I suppose. The whole draw is a bit tired to be honest.

My thoughts exactly, a really boring draw. All the small teams seemed to get other relatively small teams, big teams were by and large at home, no major derbies. Shit draw for Sunderland, Allardyce doesn't take cups that seriously anyway so despite a decent performance on Saturday I think we'll be unceremoniously dumped out. At least it might be on tele like, the holders normally are

BBC website

"Arsenal have won the FA Cup a record 11 times and will be aiming for a third straight victory after they beat Hull in the 2014 final and Aston Villa in 2015."

I thought we set a record last year by winning it 12 times.
Did I get this wrong?

No matter what you think about Wenger his FA cup record is exceptional. To get to Wembley/Cardiff 7 times in 20 years and only lose once is not to be dismissed. Having been to every cup final since 1993, the feeling of winning the cup, being part of the buildup atmosphere and history of the competion hasn't diminished imo.
