I only saw the last 25 minutes of the first half but it looks like two pub teams playing on a field. Dire.

2-0. Fair amount of huff and puff from Liverpool but no real cutting edge. This year is a bit of a freebie for Klopp because he has a lot of credit with the Liverpool fans and media and there's no real expectation - doesn't make a huge difference whether they finish 5th or 15 points back in 9th. The real test will be when he's had a chance to bring his own players in and time to work with the squad - next season.

Benteke doing his usual missing man performance. Was always a hugely over-inflated price to pay for him because two thirds of the time he is appalling and offers less than nothing. Such a typically short-sighted Rodgers signing. When he was at Villa he would turn up once every few games and when he was anonymous and they lost the rest of the team would carry the flak, when he actually turned up and grabbed a goal or two he got all the plaudits. He will score enough goals to make the difference in a relegation battle but he will never offer anywhere near enough for a big club to rely upon.

BT Sport raised the question of Carroll for the Euros - interested to see who people would take if Carroll, Rooney, Vardy, Kane and Sturridge are all fit. For me Carroll is the sort of player who could give any defender in the world a torrid time and jokes aside is probably one of the best headers of the ball in the PL era BUT there's no point falling into the trap of just sticking him on the bench to bring him on without then ensuring you are playing to his strengths.

Lot of effort at Upton Park but little quality. Even BiTter Sport couldn't find any positives for Liverpooll

Fabianski just headed literally half a yard wide from a corner at the death for Swansea. Not particularly disappointed about United winning tbh, long live King Louis' reign there!

The inevitable Leicester slide has begun - amazing as if you'd listened a fortnight ago to anybody in the media they were genuine title contenders but actually just like the other tens of pretenders who have been occupying a falsely high position halfway through a PL season they won't last.

Villa 11 points from safety, surely, they're gone.

1-0 Watford. City are a bit of a shambles away from home.

1-1. Poor defending from a corner but Yaya Toure casually volleying into the top corner after sauntering around without a care all game.

City must fancy taking all 3 points now.

Sure enough 2-1. Absolutely woeful defending to let a pint-sized striker have a free header with the cross in the air for so long.
