relegation dead certs, but is it any coincidence that they have dropped big time since that idiot tom fox took over.
he was crap here and we are lucky to be rid of him and some of his underlings who went with him.
i feel sorry for garde as he was on a hiding to nothing after agent tim wasted decent money on championship players like rudy gestede.

Re: Villa
There is no fight at the club. They have signed players like Richards, Lescott and Sinclair who gave up on their careers years ago and are just looking for an easy payday. The fans won't get behind the team in a relegation battle like they would at any other club.
Sherwood was flailing but was the sort of personality they need to engage their miserable fans. Having let him bring in over 50m of his own players over the summer they should have given him the season effectively with no suitable candidate to replace him and they could have then brought in a manager with a view to next season if they were doomed come March/April.
If they were going to sack him then they needed a Pulis or Allardyce type figure to try and keep them up the dirty way. Garde is the wrong appointment at the wrong time as he was never going to turn things round and just isn't equipped for the Championship next year. Shades of Solskjaer's appointment at Cardiff which went similarly badly.

I will be absolutely delighted when those bastards go down, I hope they end up bankrupt in the conference. Horrible, horrible club.
Good riddance

Remember in 2008/09 when they pushed us to the very end for our beloved virtual trophy?

Re: Villa
Why do so many of you hate Villa?
Did they used to give it large, back in the day? Is it the European Cup chant?
My very vague memory of them in the 90s, was that they used to put up a decent fight against the Arsenal.
Current Villians are more of a humble variety who recognise and accept their lowly status, even before their recent skirts with relegation.

Re: Villa
They’ll sink like a stone upon their inevitable relegation; the chairman doesn’t give a fuck, and this attitude permeates the whole rotten club.
They’ve gone through some truly useless managers (Ged, McLeish, Lambert, Sherwood) while selling any half-decent players they had and have now got a bloke who has no idea what he’s let himself in for.
Goodbye & good riddance.

Not hate so much as they just need to fuck off and stop stinking out the division. Give somebody else a go.
