Giroud - My title know-how can help

Post by Chippy »

Saw this on Pravda. It has rendered me speechless.
Olivier Giroud believes his title-winning experience in France can help Arsenal this season.
The striker helped Montpellier beat the likes of PSG and Monaco to lift the Ligue 1 trophy in 2012 and was instrumental on Saturday as the Gunners beat Newcastle United 1-0 to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.
We have a good mixture of experienced players and young players
Olivier Giroud
Giroud says he will use his know-how to encourage the younger players in the squad over the coming months.
“To be a champion, I know [what it takes] because I was a champion with Montpellier,” he said. "You need a bit of luck and sometimes you cannot play a fantastic game [but you need to win] and even more so because Manchester City are doing well.

yes, we need to channel giroud's big game experience into our club. this man won the big trophy in france, and with his help, our little club can dream of winning the premier league in england :barscarf:

i think we can do with a little bit more of the experience of ozil, sanchez, cech and bfg who have won league titles in other countries and the world cup. but thanks anyway

Yes, mate, your knowledge of scoring one yard mis-hit headers in a shit league will undoubtedly be like gold-dust to Sanchez and Ozil.

Absolutely robbing us blind for £130k a week and this is a joke when the bloke has looked out of place in just about every big game we've had since he joined us. I won the plate competition at a works PowerLeague competition a few months ago which is roughly equivalent in terms of equipping somebody to lead a team to a PL title.

Saying that it's not like he has gone mouthing off to a newspaper: this is the club posting this nonsense and obviously they have given him a nudge as to what to say.

As if the bloke needed an ego boost - he already thinks he is the dog's bollocks. This time next year he will be claiming to be Jesus Christ reincarnated and trying to broker a solution to the Middle East crisis.

In the same way that me going on the Atkins diet and losing 3 stone before I got married makes me able to be a top dietician?

After that one glory moment I swiftly returned to being a fat bastard :D

Hopefully that one-off, big league experience in Ligue 1 will see us over the line eh ?

If this team worked as hard on their game as they do on their Media cultivation we would be 15 points clear at the Top by now !

Did you have "anger issues" during Atkins? I did it for a few weeks during pre-season one year and lost the 2 stone I'd put on through (yes, you guessed, fuckers  ) injury. It worked a treat.

But fuck me was I a grumpy bastard for the whole time!
