I miss him....

As well as the sublime goals we all instantly think of, when he is mentioned - Villa away lob, Peach at Anfield, Southampton 40 yard lob for this hat trick, numerous strikes v tiny totts he scored an awful lot of rebounds and had the knack of being in the right place which you usually associate with a striker.
Also got 5 goals with his head

Loved him as a player (after initially being critical of his workrate..........)

My two favourites moments will always be ridiculing Schmeichel with that lob at Villa and going past Gerrard like he wasn't there to square for Ljunberg to score at Anfield.

Giggs' longevity was unrivalled but he never performed at anywhere near the level Pires did for five years or so.

Took a while to settle into the pace of the league, during which time I wasn’t sure he was cut out for us.

Fast-forward 6 months or so and he was probably the third name I’d look for on the teamsheet; he was the fucking bollocks.

Bobby was a genius. He had a magical touch and a real eye for finishing. I put him on the same level as Henry which is just a tad behind Bergkamp.

Never forget also he claims the assist for the Greatest Goal Ever Scored.
