Just been looking at the title run in fixtures for the top 4 teams and I think we've got the easiest one on paper of all four, but we will just miss out to Leicester. Given the way this season has gone Leicester have got the following teams away Palace, sunderland, man utd and Chelsea, places they can and will drop points.
I've got us dropping points away at west ham, man city and sunderland otherwise its all mid-table teams we normally put away. However, we've beaten man city away and home in last two fixtures so this Arsenal team know how to beat them.
Spuds have Liverpool, stoke, chelski and Bournemouth away, with manure at home and will lose points there. Man city have a good run in with away trips to Bournemouth, Chelsea, Southampton, and us and manure at home. They could easily see off the other teams but progression in the champions league will be a massive distraction for them.
Chelsea will have a vital say who takes their crown as champions as they play Leicester, spuds and city at home, and they will see a top 4 finish in their sights.
I've got Leicester on 72 pts, Arsenal and Man City on 71 pts (given that we lose at man city) and spuds on 68 pts.
I think the title will be won from as few as 72 points to 75 points.
Title run in
Re: Title run in
We will not drop points at Sunderland and the scum will not drop points at Bournemouth. Don't see Leicester dropping points at sunderland and definitely not at palace who are in awful nick.Nos89 wrote:Just been looking at the title run in fixtures for the top 4 teams and I think we've got the easiest one on paper of all four, but we will just miss out to Leicester. We will drop points at Everton (it's an early kickoff away remember). Hoping Liverpool can take points off the scum.
To finish, I have Leicester on 78, City on 76, us and the scum even on 73 but they've got a better goal difference.

Liverpool 5th on 67.
Norwich 18th on 30, Newcastle 19th on 29 and Villa 20th on 19.

Special circumstances

Re: Title run in
The scum have already played Bournemouth away. We only have 4 away games left.
Everton
West Ham
Sunderland
Man City
The five remaining home games are all easily winnable. IMO if we are to have any chance of the title it must be 15 points from the home matches, and a minimum of 9 from the away games. This would mean Leicester can get no more than 16 points from their remaining 9 fixtures, and Tottenham 20 and Man City 23. It would also mean we would have to win at two of West Ham, Everton and Man City. To put it another way, it aint happening.

There's no margin for error. We have to win out and hope Leicester drop sufficient points.
