It's gonna be Vardy's. The Hollywood ending so the film can go ahead.

Pleased for Ozil as he has been brilliant at times this season but he's only done what he was expected to do over the last two seasons. can you imagine how many assists he would have if he had a decent striker in front of him? Mind boggles. Still think its amazing that against Southampton he created 9 goal scoring opportunities and the game ended 0-0. He should win it just for his sheer patience...i'd had grabbed Giroud/ Walcott by the scruff of their necks if they kept fucking up like that from my assist.

Vardy would get my vote if I'm honest - I know that there has been a mahrez and kante *****-a-thon in the last few months, but vardy's goals is what has them where they are and it is a remarkable rise through the football ranks 8)

I know that I say this every season, but I take real issue with the young player nominations - at what stage/age does a player no longer qualify for this category ? In my opinion coutinho, kane and lukaku shouldn't be considered for this award, and it should only be open for those players that are playing their first full season in the premier division (obviously age would also be a factor). Sadly the latest scum "superstar" will be the winner here but hopefully he will be just another lennon or townsend 8)

I personally would not say that Ozil has been one of the top 6 performers in the league and whatever the limitations of his team-mates the reality is that he has blown hot and cold again this year and been found wanting when the pressure is on along with the rest of the team.

Mahrez for me - the guys return is tremendous and he is a real handful.

kante has been the most consistent for me, payet definitely the most exciting but not hit those standards long enough.

countinho has been average for the most part and is 24 in a couple of months ffs, in modern football young usually means teenager or 20 at a push. :|

Mahrez has had the best season. Konte is the most valuable to his team. Vardy will win it. Payet the best player of the lot though.

Would have loved Ozil to have won it. But im afraid he doesn't deserve it over Vardy. Although if Tottenham steal it, it should go to Kane who looks like he will score 25 league goals.

Kante for me. Vardy and Mahrez have been brilliant but Kante sums up everything about Leicester.He runs more in one game than some of our players run in a season.

Just hope the Leicester players dont split the vote and Kane wins it.Remember Ginola won POTY when United won the treble!!!!

Does Ozil do enough in the big games?
