Re: onlinegooner annual survey
Is this compulsory? I can get a note from my mum if neccessary.
Re: onlinegooner annual survey
if you dont fill it in then db10 and chippy will be over to fill you in

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
we might have come 2nd in the league but really it does sum it up that two full backs and a goalie in a dodgy defence make 3 out of the 4 player of the season nominations. As for Ozil , yes lots of assists but when the going gets tough he is nowhere to be seen.

and as for 2nd best player of the season (after ozil) i was stumped. found it hilarious cech was one of the automatic options. oh and joel campbell for "most improved". we knew nothing of him anyway prior to this season and he was mediocre anyway

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
Ozil best by a long shot. Went with Nacho for 2nd and for most improved. Messi-Lite Ramsey has to be most disappointing.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:had to put ramsey.xisstential wrote:Most disappointing player of 2015/16??

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
Ozil and Monreal as 2 best, Monreal for most improved, Ramsey for worst, Ramsey for who should be sold, along with Sonogoals, Wally, Ox, Gibbs. Klopp as my fantasy manager

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
crashes on 3rd page for me ?
Re: onlinegooner annual survey
I actually voted for ozil as most improved player as well as player of the season - we all knew what world class ability ozil has, but this was the season when he really stepped up to the mark for me and went from luxury player to key player
I voted for ox as the most disappointing - to have disappointed me I would have to expect something from the player concerned in the first place so that automatically ruled out wally who I have said is shit for years
The ox is a player that I had real hopes for and he has disappointed me big time - yes I think that he is being woefully mis-managed, but when he is on the pitch he is making the most stupid basic mistakes

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
for once I agree with augie , I now despise the Ox and I used to love him ,lazy, petulant, stupid and always injured ,he is the poster Boy for Arsenals soft underbelly brigade !

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
The Ox needs a new manager. He needs someone to work on his confidence and his psyche. He has the ability but he doesn't seem able to make the right decisions and seems to get more withdrawn as a game goes on, especially if he's made a few mistakes early on. A top man manager would work on that. The injury thing? Who knows. When you look at his build, he doesn't strike me as having corn flake legs like Gibbs, so maybe getting away from our medics might help him too.

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
I got 9 out of 10

Re: onlinegooner annual survey
I used to enjoy these but found doing this survey quite tedious to be honest. Not The Gooners fault of course but just anything to do with the current Arsenal leaves me cold.
Best Goal / Best player etc. Could barely be bothered to even give it any thought. The fact that I chose Monreal as either the best or most improved player shows what an exciting action packed season it was
