Will Van Persie ever be fit again?
I see that VanP is out for another two weeks. His injuries are ruddy ridiculous. Will he ever play something approaching a whole season? Obviously the bloke has great skill but what use is he to us always injured? It's a ruddy shame as the bloke could be world class if he wasn't out all the time? Do we need someone less injury prone in his place? You can't rely on Ade as the main man all season. Van makes Rosicky look injury free.
And what is it with our injuries? As I said in the last Gooner Podcast we seem to diagnose that a player will be out for a couple of weeks and then three months later there is no sign of them. Either Gary Lewin is on the take these days - or he can't diagnose an injury to save his life. It happens all the ruddy time...

As in the dude from top missed soap 'Eldorado'? Sadly I'm not. Do you remember when his girlfriend in that programme called Pilar rode a horse? As a 15 year old lad it made for great viewing. Her jubblies were all over the shop.
Anyway - I digress. That's just my crazy interweb forum type name. I am in fact Marc Ollington - everyone's favourite Gooner contributor.
You didn't answer my Van Persil question... though to be honest it is more fun talking about Eldorado.

WE COULD DO WITH HIM FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON SO MAYBE AFTER THIS EXTENDED BREAK HE MIGHT GET A GOOD RUN OF GAMES BUT FOR SOME REASON CANT SEE IT

Hi Marc - read alot of your stuff over the years. All shite. ONLY KIDDING - mostly excellent stuff, mate
. Think I saw you on a documentary about the Arsenal one night too...
Anyway, I agree that RVP is a pain in the nuts with the injuries. He is quality, real quality, but we don't get to play him near enough. Hugely frustrating.
Never mind "glass ankles" Fanny - is RVP a "glass body"...?

But the guy has so much talent, we can't possibly get rid of RVP can we? He is injury prone I admit but the boy has been unlucky. I personally think he is the closest thing to DB10 and when he is on form he f*cking entertains me and gets my fat arse of my seat so yes I think we should deffo keep him.
Sorry Wayno.
