Thierry Henry is new Belgium assistant manager

Post by Jumpers For Goalposts »

Another great former player that won't be passing on his knowledge to our players. :banghead:

Good luck to him but he is yet another great that should be coaching a winning mentality into the current squad.

Sadly we have a loser mentality from top to fucking bottom. Wenger wants a 'steady ship', and will outcast anyone with an ounce of ambition or fight. Can't have an environment that might upset his pampered pussies (looking at Walcott, Ox, Ramsay and Giroud in particular) now can we :banghead:

Imagine a Simeone-type at the helm with Thierry as his right-hand man... fuck me, I'd be wetting myself with excitement before every game :alarmclock:

Another example of why Wenker should go, he is draining our club of potential coaching and management talent,in my opinion because he doesn't want the light to be shined in all the grubby corners, and on HIS management style. :banghead:

TH14 was a fantastic player, but I'm not sure about him as a coach.

He's a bit 'too cool for school', lacking in passion and doesn't seem to be able to express himself particularly well.

I'd like to see TA6, DB10 etc back, but TH14, not so bothered.

Like the likes of Keown and Shearer, Henry is more interested in raking in a hefty salary sitting on a sofa. He has next to no commitment to making it as a successful coach.

Immense player but am I disappointed that we haven't employed a coach with such little commitment to learning his craft? No.

And that's before you consider that he is one of the biggest Wenger worshippers around.

What do you do the 42 weeks a year players aren't on international duty?

Fits right in with his Sky career

Good luck to him to be honest, it's not like he's been rewarded for all his loyalty to Wenger and as an extension the club.

It might actually be a good move for him and his punditry may actually improve, well at least when it is one of Arsene PLCs matches anyway

I thought he got a £10m payoff for signing a new contract, then left the following year anyway.

Our loss is their gain...Sadly.

I just hope that wenger has to leave under a cloud with thousands of irrate Gooners chasing the ceunt down the blackstock road with piano wire and giroud as the lampost...Then! THEN we can have TH14 come in as manager having learnt more and be ready for his big managerial challenge....mind you still would have preferred him to assist Koeman - who is the best tactical manage rin the prem.

Not a bad step up for someone who had to work for free with the U18s

I wonder if Henry will take over as manager when the fraud Martinez gets sacked :rubchin:
