20 Years of Arsene FC

Post by SPUDMASHER »

Our illustrious leader has reached the 20 year milestone today so I thought it would be a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing career and achievements of one of the greatest football managers of all time.

So feel free to post your memories of his catalogue of great acheivements here and take the time to say a few kind words in recognition of his devotion to our club.

I reckon by 5pm today we'll have a replica of the Wenger thread right here! :lol: :wink:

For me The Wenger years are split in two; the innovative glorious trophy-laden years from 1996 to 2006 and then the terrible fucking Godawful Project Ego years from 2007 to May 2025 when he finally calls it a day.

I don't hate him but I have very little respect (if any) left for him nowadays and I want him gone more than almost anything in the world ever. :x

This is how I see his reign as well. FFS I fell in love with this club and the way of football they played during Wenger's early days at the club. I didn't think during those days that the manager is some kind of genius or anything like that, I was more a fan of the players and how they created that magic on the pitch that made Arsenal so special.

That being said it is painful to watch once great club fade away because of actions of one man (or maybe two if wigfuck is counted). I loathe wenker for what he has done to the club after 2006. Or actually I began to feel disbelief and anger and lost all hope around 2010-11. But I'm still here supporting this great club even if I live far away and even if I don't believe anymore into what this current regime is doing to the club. All the akb's calling wenger outs fickle or glory hunters can go and fuck right off. We are still here and we will be here long after wenker is gone.

Oh well, happy 20th anniversary Arsene anyway! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :lol: :lol: :lol: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Not according to the club's twitter feed:

"We’ve seen this topic discussed a lot, so just to clarify: Arsène Wenger formally began working for Arsenal on October 1, 1996"

Of course what they meant was;

We might as well merge them really.

Why?

Wenger is a cun.tslop who has over stayed his welcome.

Mind you his ex-missis was well fit for the first 10 years of his managing of THE Arsenal.

yes, he was a slight irritation to rednose for a while, but THAT was down to the players David Dein brought in and NOT Wenker.

There see I can be positive about things wenker related. :barscarf:

ps; What the fuck?!!! I thought flash only came here on National holidays!!! :lol: :wink:
