Arsenal legends

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal legends

Post by hertsgunner »

Dont know if you boys are aware but there is an Arsenal legends show at the Cliffs pavillion Southend with subject to availability Paul Merson, Perry Groves and the Romford Pele on the 21st March 2017. Should be a cracking night for any old school gooners out there .

Thanks for the heads up mate - I used to live only a few miles away from Southend, might look into this.

No probs mate I was at the Cliffs for The Specials gig last night, quality venue great for Gooners to get together for a good old sing song and a few beers before the show. The good old days eh.

Lol, saw the Specials there myself during their 30 years anniversary tour a few years back - trust you enjoyed yourself
Not many of them left to perform nowadays, Neville still going but with his own band.
I'm off to Norwich to see Bad Manners in December.

That sounds decent but I'm slightly concerned about how much the three of them can remember about their time at The Arsenal. Perhaps it takes all three of them working as a group to piece the booze laden memories back together again.

Did you see the list of players involved? On ours it's not bad; Davis, Groves, Merse (even though he's a chav cúnt at heart  ), Sansom, Seamo, Smudge, St Michael, Nutty, Romford, Sol, Lauren... 8)

But also Niall Quinn and Jimmy Carter...
