Any chance of a transfer, please

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Any chance of a transfer, please

Post by aw »

Well , no news on the transfer front and I was hoping for a Gk, CB Winger, and a forward.
Someting like Boruc, Benzema, Ribery, Modric and A Ferdinand.

Looks like we will have to do with what we have :o :? :o :?

jayus aw you'll have the optimists coming down on you for saying that we need some new players
surely arsene knows and our squad is well able to play in 4 comps between now and may with the 16/17 players we have at the moment
and before i get attacked, i do hope im so wrong and that our small squad with there good morale and skills will see us thru

Wenger has already said he won't be adding to the squad. After that we should just go by the theory that hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Maybe we'll get a late surprise, but its likely we won't, no matter how much we think we need it.

Even a loan signing, Somebody please! We've just lost the very ambitious Lassane Diarra who has gone onto better things! I actually liked him but as with anybody "if you dont want to stay at THE ARSENAL " then clear off !

Don't see AW ever getting Rio or others with a well known name to them, esp if it's a englishman
He did however try to get him when he was in his West Ham days

Exactly i'd rather do what we did with Anelka & buy 3 class players out of the £23m we got for him though i don't think £5 million doesn't buy you much 8)

on a serious note Joelean Lescott is doing a great job for Everton and is a key reason Everton are doing well this season
