Are Spurs fans allowed to sing what they want??

Given the stick and uproar when we dare to sing piss take songs at Cashley, and given the headlines when a Gooner dared call Fergie a name this season at the Emirates, for how long will the immature **** be allowed to sing "Sit down you paedophile" at Arsene before a single mention is made?

Whereas the Gooners who stayed and sung their hearts out until the end last night were a credit to Arsenal Football Club, those morons who sing that vile tripe continue to let their club down.

The subject of there chant is disgusting. But where are the newspaper and Internet headlines that should accompany such a showing of stupidity and inappropriateness?

It is down to their club to enforce the rules regarding behaviour but we know they never will because they have no class.
What they need is a 'Text the Steward' scheme

That point was made many times during the whole debate over the Arsenal fans suing the club over fans using the y*d word. It was also mentioned when ferguscum complained bitterly in the media about the stick the *word censored* got at the emirates. Thing is I mostly dont blame the media or opposition fans but instead I blame our own club who bend over backwards at the slightest sign of offending even 1 person but wont fight for their own employees(wenger) by looking for sanctions against the likes of manure

It is a disgrace that we announced that we were launching an enquiry into the abuse that drunk got at emirates - think that guy at the train station got the right idea myself

Can you imagine if we had launched coins, cups, etc at one of their players also like they did cesc in the corner. headlines wouldn't have been positive thats for sure.

And think what people are chanting at Wenger is constantly over looked by the media and the authorities.

It's partly because Wenger doesn't make a big deal about it, but then the guy is far too intelligent to lower himself to comment on it. He's the kind of guy who knows full well the phrase "never wrestle with a chimney sweep because you can't come out of it clean".

The media should make a bigger thing out of it than they do, but then it's their thick headed mentality that makes your braindead Spurs fan think that you could spot a paedo by the type of glasses he wears - he read it in the Sun so it must be true.

I have lurked on the forum for a while before joining and I have seen there is a split over whether it is an acceptible word.

My own take on it is that I have little time for political correctness. i appreciate the connotations of the word and what it can imply. But this over zeal over not offending this group or that group isn't something i am all too keen on. As far as the thread you refer to is concerned, there is no real control over the use of the word '****'. I am not going to use it in every post about the Yi.. Spuds, but I see no problem in a few sprinklesof it now and then.

Regardless of whether they are a race or not the majority of the people on this site, including the administrators, don't like it. Wouldn't it just be easier if, as the newbie, you just fitted in rather than try to set your own standards.

Jews are a race.

The theory of race is pseudo science - there is no such concrete thing as a race.

A lot of 'famous Jews' are not actually practising Jews - the parents of Karl Marx and Felix Mendelson both converted to christianity but are famous examples of German Jews.

Nobody who converted to christianity were spared persecution in Nazi Germany, you were forced to wear a star of David if your Grandparents were Jews, hence a biological definition of 'Jewishness', hence a racial definition, not one of simple religious faith.
