The only reason I got interested in beating the last lot was because I had a 30 year vendetta against Benfica and it pissed me right fucking off that our paths hadn't crossed. Now we've got to play Olimpipisspots for the hundredth time since last week and I've kind of lost interest again. Three years ago, the Europa League was a bit of a relief after years of hopeless fucking about in the Champions League. We could easily have won it and got back into where we should have been but we wasted the first season in it by keeping Wanker and would probably have won it with any other manager. I'll admit that I actually didn't want to win it in 2018 because I honestly didn't want Wanker to have the redemption of winning it and the predictable sickening "Well, what's your problem?" from him and the media. I truly wanted him to walk away in abject failure without even a modicum of relief. Purely because that's what he deserved. We probably should have won it under Emery had the Chavs gone out earlier but really, what does it fucking matter these days?
