I think I heard wenger utter the same words last season and maybe even the season before that and yet we continue to sell rather than buy

I have said it before and will say it again I am fed up hearing him say our short our squad is and do fcuk all about it and if our season goes tits up on the head of this then he has to be hold accountable instead of this arsene knows crap. Its enough to make a grown man cry

as much as i love arsene wenger and all he's done for for club he is in charge of our club and he must know by now that we need reinforcements but will he

fcuk no be cause his ego wont let him,, he's got this idea that he wont buy a star but make one and while his success in this is very good he has also bought some duds,,
if our season goes tits up then it will be his fault just as if we win something he will be praised,
again arsene does always know and now with our squad down to 17 ( his own words )we must buy,, whats wrong with going out and spending Â£30m for a change like our rivals always seem to be able to do,, come on arsene,, dont blow this season because of pride ,, spend some of our money

We do have to accept he gets things wrong like it or not!

Bringing on the big guns at 4-0 and not at half time beong a prime example!

It has been said on anaother thread but I seriously am wondering if Wenger has a personal motive to prove the point that he can win the league without serious investment!

Time will tell!

The key words in Wenger's quote are "at the moment". By my reckoning, our first team squad has 25 players in it. Whether you like the players or not is another question, but we don't need extra numbers for the sake of it.

Not that I'd object to a top quality signing or two.

We have just around 26 players in the first team and while next year it will have the likes of Vela, Lansbury and other youngsters being promoted and any buys we make in the summer. Ideally I would like to have a squad of 30 so a few short term additions to take us into the summer would be nice.
