the rocket
has been a bit flat as apposed to last year , but the bar was never that busy yesterday! i have found if you walk around the back to the otherside you get served straight away and doubling up always helps as well.
I like the Rocket but the service is crap. I usually double or treble up at the bar, but thats cos Im a beer hog
I always find the atmosphere to be great, but thats cos I am the party and good atmospheres follow me.
I haven't been since the turn of the year so that would explain why you guys think it has gone downhill.

Have to say I think the Rocket is a bit tired and lacks atmosphere!
The waiting time for a drink is ridiculous and I won't be rushing back into there! When I do go it is only usually to meet people from here!
The Gunners and Herbert Chapman it is for me with a touch of Auld Triangle (Plimsoll Armas) thrown in for nostalgia!

yeh i aint been to the rocket in yonks (or said yonks for a while either).
The tollington aint too bad, but no atmosphere, and there is a che guevara style pub up the road from the tolly, or through the tunnel if ur comig from the ground, which has fit women working in it but again not a great atmosphere.
there must be a few more pubs about with a better atmopshere??
