Almost too funny to be true... Jaysus...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There's another thread on this that was started some time last week. It is sad and reflects poorly on the Totts.
I work with a spud and he has told me that they are bringing out a DVD of the match (release date 2nd Feb if anybody wants to pre-order  ).
Even he thinks they are going over the top. Still, they'll raise money through merchandising and will be able to buy more players whilst we sit back and count our massive unused transfer budget.

There is actually an article about it on the site:

Desperate Times At White Hart Lane

I guess they don’t often have a reason to go over the top…

Firstly, you probably won’t believe me, but I promise you this is not a wind up.

We kind of expected a commemorative DVD after Tuesday night’s win, and a t-shirt was not left to the street traders outside. Let’s face facts here, a semi-final victory against a second string Arsenal team (just to remind you, only three of the side that turned out against Fulham started for the Gunners, and those were due to injuries/African Cup of Nations duty) is a regarded phenomenal achievement in London N17.

Still, even we at onlinegooner raised an eyebrow to see an actual commemorative mug of the match. Should we really be surprised though? After all, this is the club that produced a range of merchandise in summer 2006 commemorating the club’s return to Europe (in the er… UEFA Cup) after several seasons of watching north London’s finest in the Champions League.

Guess every penny counts when you are trying to play catch up…
