Anyon going to the F.A youth cup game at the Grove.
Arsenal v Cardiff City
FA Youth Cup Quarter Final
Emirates Stadium
Monday, February 19, 2007
Kick-off: 7pm
Just thinking that maybe this a a complete waste of time. Having a couple of thousand Arsenal fans inside 'the new home of football' wont look great and what will the players feel about this?

I would have thought playing at the grove would be awsome for the kids. How would you feel if you got a chance to play there? You'd love it.
I took part in a penalty shootout on the pitch at highbury when I was a kid. Everyone got 3 penalties each. If you scored one then you go into the knockout round which was sudden death. I was up first, and the only one to miss all 3 penalties. I'll never get another chance to score on Arsenal's pitch again.
My mate won and was given a shirt signed by all the team. I got a loser certificate, but it was presented by Steve Bould so it wasn't all bad.

I agree. I played at the Reebok in a North-West Womens' League select squad against the Bolton Wanderers Ladies. I'm pleased to say that we won. It was an amazing experience to play at a premiership ground, change in the changing rooms, run out the tunnel etc (even though it was at Bolton).
Gooners can be happy at the Reebok!
