ENGLANDS NEW STRIP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I never buy Eng-er-land shirts and I can't say this will be an exception. I stopped wearing football shirts when we moved to the new stadium. I still display my colours (scarf etc.) but I never wear sports clothing.

It looks a bit stupid on somebody rapidly approaching forty that is wider than they are tall

Don't want the England marketing machine hearing you say that, that's their key demographic!

The kit looks like it wants to be 1982 but can't quite make it.

I haven't bought a football shirt since 1992. And I'm not forty yet. 8)

I do still wear the odd t-shirt etc. that my wife buys me from the club. It's literally only the replica kits and training stuff etc. that I avoid. I still wear my North Bank T-shirt a lot. God I miss that place!!!!

Nah, I wont' be buying it. That's the only England shirt I've ever had:

I think I bought it for only a tenner from JD Sports.

Was it authentic?

Still too much for a Pommy kit. They should give them out free at matches. :D

Yes, it was from JD Sports. They were quickly selling them before the World Cup.
