ever the major footballing topics, eh?
and given the number of irish regulars on the forum, missing the guinness is pretty much like kicking the green lads in the gonads.
lager myself - bottled only though. the stuff that comes out of barrels does strange things to my insides. god only knows what they put in there

In Ireland it's Smithwicks ale for me if it's a session
. Sometimes cold draught or bottled lager (Stella, Bud, Miller) if I'm just drinking socially. Never the "Gout" though, I find Guiness puts me to sleep...
When over in Enger-land for an Arsenal match then either cold draught Aussie beer like XXXX or Fosters or cold bottled lager or that tasty Fosters Super Chilled they sell at the Grove; I've acquired quite a taste for that stuff...
Basically, I'll drink a syphilitic whore's piss out of a dead wino's ass if it's alcoholic and (most importantly) COLD
. What this fascination some English people have with luke warm beer is, I'll never understand
. Bleeuurgh!!

We have a more refined palette therefore the need to actually taste something is more important than pouring -30 degrees fizzy water down our necksWhat this fascination some English people have with luke warm beer is, I'll never understand. Bleeuurgh!!
