According to Sky Sports news Cesc went up to Hughes at full time and asked "Did you play for Barcelona" and after getting an affirmative responded with "Bet they didn't play like that"

If he asked the question "Did Mark Hughes once play for Barcelona" to someone from Catalonia, the answer definitely wouldn't be in the affirmative.
