I don't respect Eboue much and I am sure most of you don't as well. He began his career like a great player but from Champions League final where he dived and on, it has been more about his antics rather than his talent.

Everyone remembers Ronaldo's supposedly "disgraceful" wink and supposed "persuasion" to the referee in World Cup when England got knocked out. Some newspapers said that Ronaldo should deported, The Sun and the likes. They weren't serious but they were still furious at Ronaldo.

Yesterday Eboue touched Nani with studs while in air, I won't argue whether it was harsh or not. One thing I know is that Rooney's stamp on Carvalho's testicles was much worse. What have these two things to with each other?

Well, it was a supposed disgrace when the foreign cheat protested to the ref that Rooney should be sent off. But when the English lion does that about Eboue, nobody notices. If you complain about an English lion than you are a foreign cheat who doesn't respect fellow professionals. If you complain about a foreigner than it is normal.

I am sure that Rooney or Terry wouldn't have been sent off for what Eboue did. If they did under the influence of a foreigner than there would be an outcry about lack of morals from the foreigners.

Rooney was the one that influenced the referee's decision to send Eboue off. Yes it was a sending off, but the ref didn't see it that way until Shrek came over running his mouth.

Good point. Wiley wasn't rushing to the red until grannylover started getting hysterical. In my opinion it was a redcard offence (for reckless play) but the real issue for me is how much crunts like Rooney and Terry and fatfrankie get away with...

It was Evra not Nani who Eboue touched with his studs. I think theres a difference between the Ronaldo - Rooney world cup incident and this one. Ronaldo got Rooney sent off for a push which at best should been a yellow card. Eboue's one was a deserved red card and im not convinced Rooney influenced the decision, Wiley would have red carded him anyway, he has his hand in his pocket before Rooney came forward and normally referees keep the yellow and the red cards in separate pockets.

However what I didnt like was Anderson clapping after the decision.

But i remember one incident, i think it was the Merseyside derby this year. Gerrard was fouled by what seemed to be the last defender, the referee didnt seem to be keen on showing the red card when Gerrard walked up to him and reminded the guy was the last man and the referee sent him off.

There is no doubt that english players receive preferencial treatment but lads both eboue's challenge and shreks stamp on carvalho were deserved red cards. We can moan all we like, and I do agree that anderson clapping is not right, but at the end of the day eboue is a stupid *word censored* who deserved to get sent off. The fact that he made minimal contact was not down to eboue's lack of effort in trying to do him but, like everything else he has done this season, he just fcuked it up and I for one hope he gets hammered by the fa.

It's just the double standards in the media augie. Rooney was not responsible but he did race over to Wiley and you can't be in any doubt that he was encouraging a sending off. Now, for me, that is neither here nor there - Eboue deserved to be sent off - if only to prevent us watching his pathetic excuse for a performance any longer. But the media in general choose to portray british players in one way and foreigners in another,
