Arsenal are optimistic defender Kolo Toure will be ready to return to action in two weeks' time.

I bloody hope so, although big phil is an able replacement. i feared the worst for king kolo last night when he had to come in so much pain.

That means he'll be back for the AC Milan match. We are playing playing against Birmingham City and Aston Villa on the next two saturdays respectively.

Wenger also said that he won't fast-track Van Persie's return

If Senderos plays like he has been against Brum and Villa, then he should be in the starting line up against Milan. Firstly cause he has the momentum and has been doing well. Secondly cause Kolo wont be match fit.

How many times have we read and heard stories from the club saying that an injured player will be back within weeks when it actually turns out to be months

I do not believe that kolo will be back for milan away and as for van persie....forget it
